TREASURE (for Treatment and Sustainable Reuse of Effluents in semiarid climates) is a scientific Euro-Mediterranean research network associating research labs and researchers from Southern Europe and Northern Africa countries about biological wastewater treatment plants and microbial ecosystems. From 2006, it aims at promoting a pluridisciplinary exchange and research place to allow the implementation of solutions where water is circulating as much as possible for anthropic purposes. Mobilizing mathematics to physics, ecology and chemical engineering or still Social and Human sciences, TREASURE organizes education as well as research and valorization actions to imagine, evaluate and put in action technological as well as Nature Based Inspired solutions for a sustainable and fair water management. At the AGIC congress, we will provide examples of pluridisciplinary research actions and results we are working and give floor to discussions and exchanges to build our future.
